Concord Runners Raise over £64 000 for Unicef
Forty-seven runners from Concord, including the Principal Mr. Neil Hawkins, have raised more than £64,000 for Unicef following the London Royal Parks half marathon.

Law Seminar for Concord's Prospective Lawyers
Concord students were treated to a glimpse into the world of Law at university when two of the UK’s leading academics visited Concord recently to deliver a seminar. Professor Alastair Mullis, Head of the School of Law at Leeds University, and Dr Jen Hendry, Lecturer in Jurisprudence, spoke to budding lawyers in Form 5 and the sixth form.
Concord Welcomes Eight New Teachers
Eight new members of teaching staff have joined Concord at the start of the new term. In a welcome to the new staff Concord Principal Neil Hawkins said: “People are the most important element of any school and we all remember our favourite teacher – teachers who have touched our lives. I am confident we have appointed some superb teachers who will enrich the lives of those young people with whom they come into contact.”
Ambitious Building Project Underway
The biggest single project ever undertaken at Concord is underway and expected to be completed in 15 months’ time. The £11 million science block is part of the forward thinking and continued development of the college campus and facilities.
