Anthony Morris Scholarship

Named in honour of Mr Anthony Morris, Concord’s Principal from 1975 to 2005.

Mr Morris worked at Concord College for forty years and was Principal from 1975 to 2005. He was a man of huge warmth, expertise and experience whose passion for Concord was extraordinary. During his tenure the College was, for the first time, recognised internationally for its high standards and for its friendly welcoming atmosphere.

The Anthony Morris Scholarship is for Sixth Form boarding students only and is awarded to an outstanding potential student whose parents would not otherwise be able to afford to send them to Concord.

The process involves assessment of academic achievement and potential as well as means testing of family resources and income to ensure that the scholarships are awarded to those with most need. Typically, no more than one Anthony Morris Scholar is elected each year.

To apply for an Anthony Morris Scholarship the candidate must apply first for a Sixth Form boarding place following the normal admissions process.
