West Midlands Independent School of the Year

Concord College is celebrating more success after being named West Midlands Independent School of the Year in the Sunday Times Parent Power Guide this weekend.

Principal Dr Truss commented: “We are absolutely delighted to win this award. The West Midlands is home to a wide range of very different Independent Schools, many of them very special in some way so to win the West Midlands Independent School of the Year award is an honour. At Concord we believe that the power of independent education is finding the right school for an individual child. Concord is unique, bringing the highest levels of academic achievement alongside a diverse and liberal community. “ A further look at the Parent Power league tables reveals that when the whole of the UK is taken into account, Concord ranks highly and particularly excitingly, when considering fully co-educational boarding schools, Concord ranked 7th overall and 2nd for GCSEs

Following on from being named Independent School of the Year for International Student Experience by Independent School Parent magazine, the College is pleased to be recognised for delivering academic success whilst providing a wonderful environment in which to study, live and grow.
