Concord’s International Food Fayre
Concord’s International Food Fayre took place on the 8th of October, and students of international societies provided a taste of their home countries for members of our community to enjoy. There was a wide variety of cuisine, such as the Victorian sponge cake from Britain, the Hong Kong-style French toast, the kimchi fried rice from Korea and the Thai stir-fried glass noodles.
‘It was a wonderful opportunity to gain insights into other cultures, meet different people and eat delicious food,’ said Christoph, a student from Hong Kong.
Overall, the International Food Fayre allowed us to engage in Concord’s culturally diverse community and appreciate different cultures.
