Concord Named a Microsoft Showcase School for the Third Consecutive Year

Concord College was delighted this week to be named a Microsoft Showcase School for the third year running. There are around 80 schools in the UK who are currently Microsoft Showcase Schools.

The College’s journey to showcase status began with being awarded an incubator status in 2020, before becoming a fully-fledged Showcase School in 2021. Continued developments in the College’s deployment and use of technology have helped to maintain the status and the College’s position as a leading institution for using technology effectively in teaching.

45% of teaching staff are now Microsoft Innovative Educators (MEIs) and 15% are MIE experts who have not only developed their own skills, but shared them with other staff.

Fully 18% of Concord staff have achieved Microsoft Advanced Educator status.

The investment in terms of technology – and time has led to the college being an exceptional example of how well thought out use of technology can benefit students. The College shares its expertise with other schools looking for support in how to effectively integrate technology to the benefit of students- and staff alike.
Use of advanced educational technology includes enabling seamless communication and resource sharing, promoting a collaborative and interactive learning environment.
