Enrichment Fayre 2025
The Enrichment Fayre is a bustling yearly event which highlights Concord’s harmonious society. The entirety of the student body alongside teachers promotes their passions through clubs and societies. The variety ranges from academic to non-academic societies. Cultural societies offer wonderful opportunities to get involved and learn about not only your own traditions and cultures, but various other cultures across the world, through performances and fayres. Sporting activities allow students to pursue their health goals and improve their physical performance within their chosen sport. We certainly haven’t forgotten about academics! Students lead a wide range of subject societies, whether it is Maths, Physics, History, Economics or Law, or any other field of interest. Whatever your aspiration, Concord certainly has a society for you! Of course, everyone needs a break from time to time, we provide that at Concord too. Have a go at Mahjong or UNO society! If there happens to be a society in which you are passionate about, you will have the opportunity to promote it in the Enrichment Fayre.
Medical Society is one of the many popular opportunities that are on offer. If you aspire to pursue a career in the medical industry, then Medical Society is the place for you. It offers discussion groups that talk about ethical problems, the NHS, preparations for both medical interviews and university applications. Professors from top universities, like Imperial College London visit the college to help like-minded students gain insight into various aspects of medicine. Another popular society is Model United Nations (MUN), which gathers students from all year groups to discuss and debate real world issues. This is where students represent a country with a given issue on current world problems and debate their stances on that topic as well as unleash their potentials. Countries can have negotiations, where they work together to solve world issues. As the supreme leader stated, this event reflects the multitude of nations within our diverse Concordian society.
Diving deeper into the world of academics, Concord offers a dynamic range of other academic societies as well. Experiencing the various modules of each society, one can intertwine themes and topics such as Economics, Philosophy and History and more.
Overall, this yearly event sparks student interest, initiating the development of skills and cultivating talented leaders. This is ‘where futures begin’!
