Concord's third Online Open Day on Tuesday saw prospective students and their families have the chance to "visit" Concord, meet some key staff and ask questions about the College and how to apply for a place.
Attendees had a welcome talk and introduction to Concord College from Principal Dr Truss who was joined by Head of Lower School Mrs Coward and Vice Principal (Academic) Mr Lawrence for introductions to the different parts of the College and a question and answer session. Dr Truss was delighted with the event; “It was absolutely wonderful to be able to welcome over 170 people from across the globe to Concord's Online Open Day, and to talk about what makes Concord such a unique, purposeful and happy environment.” he said.
The questions for the presenters showed that prospective students have a huge range of talents and interests academically, career-wise and beyond their studies. Dr Truss said: “I will very much look forward to welcoming several of these capable and thoughtful students as new Concordians in the future.”
Admissions Secretary Miss Pike and Marketing and Development Officer, Mrs Truss presented a guide to the admissions process and took further questions, to help families to feel confident in understanding how the applications and assessment process works at Concord.
There was a virtual tour of the campus led by Miss Pike, and a second tour created and filmed by some of Concord's Marketing Prefects which rounded off the morning.
For anyone who could not attend, you can still register and view recordings of the talks online at: https://concordcollege.onlineopendays.com/
