Following the end of term, a party of nine students and two teachers from Concord experienced one of Iceland’s greyest and wettest summers on record.
Based at a campsite near Reykjavik, students and accompanying staff took part in a fascinating 12 day expedition, enabling the group to experience glaciers, tectonic plates, waterfalls, Geysir hot springs and the lasting effects of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano eruption, from 2010.
