The 31st August saw over 230 guests arrive at the college for Concord’s eagerly anticipated 70th birthday – a celebration of Concord’s founding in 1949 following World War 2. The event comprised members of the alumni network, past and current staff, parents, trustees and the wider Concord community and brought Concordians from all around the world together.
The evening provided celebrations as well as a fundraising auction for the Anthony Morris Foundation, with the aim of enabling young people to attend Concord whose families might not otherwise be able to afford the fees. An incredible £27,000 has been raised for the foundation.
