As many of Concord’s class of 2026 begin their university studies in the next few weeks and we wish them every success and happiness in their endeavours.

Once again students leave us to study at some of the world’s very best universities, 57 students are going on from Concord to World Top 10 universities and 111 Concordians will be at World Top 100 universities this autumn.

In the UK, the “G5” universities of Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, LSE and Imperial College remain popular choices with 66 Concord leavers heading for those. Ten students will begin studies at Oxford or Cambridge this year. Outside of the UK, universities in the USA, Canada, Hong Kong and Australia will also be welcoming students from Concord. Destinations this year include HKU, NYU, UC San Diego, UC Davis, Sydney, Monash and Toronto among others.

The leaver’s chosen subjects are a wonderful range, with students becoming Medics, Engineers and Scientists joined by those studying for example Law, Architecture, Archaeology or Business, Management or Liberal Arts.

We are delighted that our wonderful leaving cohort are going on to some amazing courses and places.

Principal, Dr Michael Truss commented: “ Helping our students to find and follow their dreams is a fundamental priority for us as educators. These amazing young people who are heading out into the world of Higher Education have had such success as a result of their hard work and making the most of the opportunities and support they have had. It is a pleasure to see their efforts rewarded with well deserved places at top universities.”
