First exchange visit of Thai students to Concord

A group of 16 Thai students chose Concord College for a week’s exchange visit.

The 13 and 14 year old students, accompanied by their teacher Miss Pattama Deesawatseephet, who was on her third visit to the UK, specifically chose Concord for their studies.

They are among a larger group of visiting Thai students to Shropshirewho are spending their week elsewhere. Miss Deesawatseephet said they were ‘thrilled’ to be at Concord and were thoroughly enjoying their visit, particularly the food and football!

The Thai students, from a school in Bangkok, were taking part in a three week exchange project organised bySevernvaleSchoolinShrewsburywho have arranged their accommodation.

The four girls and 12 boys join form 3 year for registration, tutorials, twilight and sports and will be visiting Warwick on a trip from Concord this coming Saturday. This is the first-ever exchange visit to Concord College of a group of students from Thailand.
