Concord's Got Talent!
"The annual Concord College Talent Show took place on Friday 3rd June. A packed audience in the theatre enjoyed an exciting and varied programme of acts from singing to street dance, from pop bands to classical music.
Physics Olympiad Success
"Concord students have this year achieved the best results for the college so far in The British Physics Olympiad set by the University of Oxford with two 6.2 physics students, Jasper Koid and Alex Li, in the country’s top 50.
Graduation Ball 2011
" The 6.2 Leavers of 2011 were treated to a splendid evening to celebrate their final term at the college. It was a time to celebrate the success of this very talented group of young people and to reflect upon their achievements.

House Rugby Sevens
"On Sunday May 1st the fourth annual Inter House Rugby Sevens tournament took place. This is now an eagerly anticipated event in the Concord sporting calendar and once again this year the teams were anxious to improve upon the performances in 2010.
Road Race 2011
"On Saturday 30th April, a large crowd gathered in front of the Main House for the annual Concord College Inter-House Road Race. This popular event marks the beginning of the athletics season at Concord every Summer Term.
Form 3 Activities Fun
"Kite and hat making were was introduced as new activities on Saturday mornings last term for Form 3 students, who finished the Spring term with a week of trips and activities instead of exams!
Awards at MUN Conference
"Libya was one of the countries that a team from Concord had to represent in a ‘Model United Nations’ weekend conference at Haileybury School. It was one of three countries allocated to the team of 13 from Concord, who came away with a couple of awards.

"A Concord student in the final year of her A Levels is believed to be the first school age author to have an article published in a prestigious national academic magazine.
Trio of Awards for Team
"Concord’s senior public speaking team has made it through to the national finals of a public speaking competition. On the way to the finals all three members of the team have all won individual awards in rounds of the competitions that they have participated in.
Red Nose Fun!
"Concord marked Red Nose Day with their first inter-boarding house fun sports with many competitors dressed in pyjamas. All monies raised from the fun sports on the afternoon of 18th March will be donated to Comic Relief.
Author Inspires Students
"Acclaimed author Meg Rosoff visited Concord on Thursday 17th March to speak to all Form 4 and Form 5 students. Visiting pupils from Mary Webb and Corbet Schools joined Concord students to welcome one of the acknowledged best writers for young people to Shropshire as part of the annual Marches Feast of Words Book Festival.
Concert a Triumph
The annual Spring concert at Concord was once again a superb spectacle that delighted audiences with the talent and energy of the performers.
Vanessa Wong in Form 4 and studying for GCSEs at Concord, was runner-up in the European Youth Go Championships for under 16s last week.
