DINING ROOM ASSISTANTS (PART-TIME)

We are recruiting for part-time Dining Room Assistants and have a number of shifts available:  5.15pm – 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am – 2pm and 5pm – 7pm on Saturdays and 10.30am – 2pm and 5pm – 7.30pm on Sundays.  Previous experience in a similar role would be helpful, although full training will be given.

A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate.

KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Our Catering team provide an efficient, friendly service in a vibrant and busy environment, serving breakfast, lunch and supper plus morning and afternoon refreshments to our 600 students and 250 staff. Our menus are interesting and varied, catering for the tastes of our multi-national community. We currently have a vacancy for a Kitchen Assistant to provide support in the preparation, presentation and serving of food. Hours of work will be 35 per week on a rota basis, which will include some evening and weekend cover.

DOMESTIC ASSISTANTS

Our Domestic Assistants play a key role in the day-to-day care of our facilities, maintaining the high standards that are required in cleanliness and hygiene for the benefit of all students, staff and visitors. Each team member takes responsibility for a specific area, to aid motivation and increase job satisfaction, and everyone works under the care and guidance of our Domestic Services Manager and Assistant. We currently have vacancies for a full-time and a part-time Domestic Assistant. Hours of work for the full-time post will be 7am to 3.45pm Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9am to 3.30pm Saturday and 10am to 4.30pm Sunday (36 hours per week) and for the part-time post, 12.45pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday (25 hours per week).

LAUNDRY ASSISTANT

Our dedicated Laundry team provide an efficient and attentive service, covering all College linen, specific uniforms and a friendly service for our boarding students in the care of their personal clothing. We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Laundry Assistant to join our professional team. Hours of work will be 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week).

COLLEGE NURSE (PART-TIME)

We are seeking a College Nurse to work as part of a team of six nurses and two healthcare assistants who assist in promoting health and wellbeing and providing the highest possible standard of medical and pastoral care for our students.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to and care for young people of all nationalities and religions. A full clean driving licence is essential, along with a recognised nursing qualification and current Nursing & Midwifery Council registration. Working hours will be an average of 22 per week, working 3 / 4 days on rota Monday to Friday, to provide cover between 7am and 10pm.

Shanghai Concord Bilingual School

Shanghai Concord Bilingual School first opened its doors to students in September 2017. The school is being developed in association with its prestigious sister school, Concord College (UK) a renowned international college whose academic excellence places it at the very top of the UK examination league tables. Concord College (UK) is lending its considerable experience and expertise in support of this new venture.

The aim of Shanghai Concord is to create a place of learning where students can flourish in a supportive atmosphere of harmony, trust and decency, whilst committed to striving for academic excellence at every level.

Initially the college recruited students in Grade 6 (age 11) and Grade 10 (age 15) and will grow each year to eventually include all years from 6 to 12 (age 11 to 18).

In September 2018 the school will also be opening a Primary Department and is aiming to recruit students into Grades 1 and 2 in the first instance.  The courses offered will incorporate the traditional Chinese curriculum in a bilingual environment, whilst also offering students IGCSE and A levels, with the intention of preparing students for entry into the top universities throughout the world.
